It provides a factual basis for decision-making and delivers a system for continual improvement of the business.
Any organisation can benefit from implementing ISO 9001:2015. It doesn’t matter what size they are or what they do. It can help both product and service organisations achieve standards of quality that are recognised and respected throughout the world.
Most businesses start with ISO 9001:2015 as this puts the quality management systems and processes in place and therefore makes it much more straightforward to implement other ISO standards. However, this is not the rule. You may implement whatever standard that suits your business and you will find in the process that quality is covered in all of them.
